Filament Questions
Filament Questions
Ok. I have a very, very, Very dumb question. Aside from the obvious size, what is the difference between 1.75mm and 3.0mm filament? Quality? Larger prints?
Re: Filament Questions
Hi.
In my opinion, with a thicker filament you can get a thicker layer.
Then the extruder is more efficient. But this requires a more powerful heater.
My friend remember, there are no stupid questions, there are only silly answers.

Re: Filament Questions
I'm guessing I would have to change the hot end and the nozzle to a 3.0?
