Had my A30 for about 1 month and made about 10 small prints using Simplify 3D. Still very new to this type of printing but the printer seems to be pretty much dead as of today. It will not operate either stand alone or via connection to Windows PC
When switched on the LCD panel lights up and the menu shows Control, Print and Settings but the menu options do not actually communicate to the printer.
Touching Settings does not open a new menu
Print changes to a blank menu not showing any files on micro SD card
Control menus inactive. Move cannot move xyz axis. Filament does not allow extrude.
Simplify 3D and EasyPrint show no printer attached but Com 3 is active
Switching on and off no help
So help please
A30 stopped working
Re: A30 stopped working
You can click the "About" menu.
Then check the motherboard firmware version at first.
If it doesn't show the info of it,you should check the PSU inside.
1.Check the LCD wires loose or not
2.Check the motherboard led info then take some photos for it.
3.If the motherboard work then you can try to re-upload the fw to it.

Unfortunately I cannot get to the About menu therefore cannot check firmware version. The LCD display shows the three main menu items Control, Print and Settings.
Pressing Control takes you to other menus such as move, filament, speed etc but there is no action when touched
Pressing Print takes you to the print screen but micro sd card not recognised as no items show - the card and data is fine and can be read on PC
Pressing the Settings button does nothing
Not sure what you mean about motherboard led information
The other noticeable thing is that there is no fan noise from the control unit and there is only one side fan operating on the extruder
I have contacted the original supplier through Amaxon and have received contact from a gentleman in China who has asked for some video of the system showing the problem.
Re: A30 stopped working
Just a quick update. It appears that there was a firmware issue now updated and all appears to be back to normal.
