even though i have switched the direction of the motors. Can some of you help me with this issue?
Hi, how did you change the direction of the motors? Did you use the Smartto Motor Tool for this?
You can find it here, if you have not used it, please use the new version 1.2

Then I'm sorry, because otherwise I can not help. Maybe the original poster, which provided the firmware.

For who installed TMC2208 on A30, how did You set vref?
I installed them on my A30 v3.3 24v psu (GTM32 PRO VD - fw 1.38.59) for X and Y. I set them to 1.108 (X) and 0.986 (Y)
Y motor works hot but without problems for now.
X doesn't work hot but I think it loses steps. See the pic

HI,gsxr2001
You can refer to it:
1.Try to increase the vref of the X axis drivers to 1.2V
2.Try to decrease the speed of travel to 100MM/S

Or it has any bugs?
Pls let us know the details then we can help to check it.

My Vref settings for my A30:
X: 0.6v
Y: 0.7v
E: 0.55v
Z: 0.5v
Working perfect, not hot and not losing steps.

@Snir2001
sorry if this was answered, but are you using TMC 2208s with those Vref??
i installed a set myself and had to take out the extruder one becuase it was making a bad noise on retraction, I can live with the noise level of the always running extruder much more than x/y..
had to bump Z up a bit becuase it was underpowered otherwise.
running 12v A30
x/y - 0.95
z- 1.2
e - stock driver 0.55
