Hi, Can you provide the hardware version number of your model?
I am not quite sure if your machine is 12V or 24V.
Because the A30 has undergone a revision,
12V before v2.0, 24V after V2.0.

William, I have checked the voltage of my A30 by label on the Power Supply:
1. My original control box shows output : +24V 20A. This control box gave electric shocks and was not safe. Geeetech sent a replacement.
2. I am using the replacement control box which shows output: +12V 42A Max.

This sounds like a big issue and I worry if the whole machine is now compromised. Are you able to help ?

Hi, If your previous power supply is 24V, then if the power supply box becomes 12V,
it will not meet your power supply requirements.
If you have not replaced your other parts and motherboards.

Thank you William, you've guided me to the core of the problem. I've contacted Geeetech sales and copied information about them sending the wrong control box. Hopefully they will be able to resolve the mistake.

Thanks for your help William, but the printer does not work and with your help I've figured out why. I'm hoping to hear from Geeetech Technical or Sales about firstly receiving a dangerous Control Box and secondly receiving the wrong Control Box as a replacement. Just need to wait and see if Geeetech do the honorable thing and send the correct replacement.

Good to hear that Vert. You are correct, the company sounds like it is run by decent people and I would like to buy a new A30 Pro in the future. At the moment I'm frustrated by not be able to use my printer for the past four months and maybe just unlucky with faulty parts.
