Hi, I have a A30 and I think I have problems with the heating element in the nozzle. Can anybody please tell me:
1) Restistance of the heating element
or/and
2) Power of heating element
In the Internet I found heating elements with 24V/40W and I don`t know if they are right.

Hi,ChrisH90
1.The resistance of the heatbar is 12~16Ω
2.The power of the heatbar is 35~45W

Hey printer-folks,
I've got a similar problem that the heater was not heating up despite the fact that MOSFET, fuse, LEDs etc. all were OK. There were no 12V on the pins of the hot-end heater while the bed was working fine.
When unmounting the board (GT2560) I discovered this:

- heater-pin.jpg (117.52 KiB) Viewed 22045 times
Re-soldered the PIN and got 12V again. First test-print prints since 5min. without problems.
Now, my question is wheter this was just due to bad soldering or is it maybe a symptom of a bigger problem in the setup? Maybe a short-circuit in the heating-element (actually I have changed it some 20 printing hours back)?
Cheers,
Martin
