Hi John,

Thank you for your reply. I had solved the problem. I found that the plastic part that hold the extruder is broken at the side that suppose to touch the endstop when it is home (X). I printed a cube (using other printer, in total I have bought 4 it3 and 2 Me Creator from Getech) and glue to it, as temporary solution. I think I should get a replacement from Getech.

However, I encountered a new problem when I tried to print. The first layer was nicely laid, but after that filament clog at the extruder. After clean the extruder, I tried again, but still facing same problem. What shall I do to overcome this problem?

Thanks.

It looked like you had set a wrong thickness, Check the Nozzle Size and Filament size when you make the gcode.

I didn't make mistake with regard to the filament size. I can manually extrude, but not able to print from second layer onwards as the filament is melt and then clog at the upper part of the extruder.

Hi, your suggestions could not solve the problem. The filament will melt at the upper part of the extruder, instead of at the tip of the extruder, cause the extruder get clog from second layer of print. I have heard that other customers also encounter same problems. Please advise. I am wondering any unit of MeCreator delivered actually works?

Hi John, please see attached picture the area where the melt filament clog the extruder.

I think the clogging happen due to the design of the extruder, i.e. there is no heatsink to dissipate heat when the heat from the heater travel up to the upper part of the extruder.

Hopefully you can give some good advice.

Thanks.
