Z-Axis reversed, please help

I have this board that came with this printer; http://www.dx.com/p/geeetech-rostock-mi ... lue-349046

Everything is hooked up as indicated with corresponding end-stops for each motor. But when operating the printer (hooks up just fine to Repetier running marlin firmware), z-xis motor is reversed so that it always moves down from 0+, either through repetier or directly in the lcd control panel; making calibration with end-stops and printing impossible. How do I fix this?

Also, what are these for  :

Thanks for your time!

Hi IgorAntunov
You can reverse the direction of the 4-pins plug about z-axis, and reconnect it the to the main board.
Or you can edit the firmware: change the INVERT_Z_DIR--TRUE to FALSE, or the opposite.

And they're heatsinks, you can install them on the motor driver.

Edit: what is the safest way to edit the firmware? Do I have to burn a new version?

Edit2:

Please tell me precisely which version of Marlin firmware goes with this sanguinololu 1.3a/atmega1284 board/chip combo. I just installed the wrong one. The SD card that came with the printer was fried/broken, I assume that had some software on there. Is it marlin version 1.0?
