MIN TEMP err on start up
MIN TEMP err on start up
I am getting a MIN TEMP error for the nozzle on start, I have checked the connection to the ramp board (swapped it with the hot bed, changed the connector orientation, etc ), unplugged, and shorted the pins using a jumper, it always reads MIN TEMP. When I read the voltage at the thermistor it is at 4.75 VDC across it. At this point I am stuck wondering if I am stuck with a defective Ramp and asking for help on this one. I purchased the kit on Feb 1, and the is Receipt No: 5280-3488-4229-7650.
Thank you
Thank you
Re: MIN TEMP err on start up
Can you heat the nozzle when connect it in hotbed header? We want to know what was broken? Or the thermistor might short with nozzle?
We will send you a replacement when we make sure what the problem is.

Re: MIN TEMP err on start up
I figured the MIN TEMP out, the thermistor connection, it is reading it off of T2 instead of T0. However I have another issue, I am getting end stop errors, specifically "echo: endstops hit" on every axis despite being centered. I also have no home position movement.
Re: MIN TEMP err on start up
Could you please tell me what board you are using, or send your purchase link to me?
It looks like you set a wrong endstop electrical level, you can change it by software or hardware.
If search X_MIN_ENDSTOP_INVERTING, you would find the place where set the endstop electrical level. But firstly, you have to confirm you are ready to re-upload firmware.
I still need the list what you had bought from us so that we can give you support better.

Re: MIN TEMP err on start up
As far as board, it is using a Ramps 1.4, and in terms of setting anything in the firmware, up to this point I have not touched anything in the firmware. I am about to look into it, and if this is running just an arduino mega type of board then yes I am ready to upload firm ware.
Re: MIN TEMP err on start up
You just need to modify configuration.h file, relative configurations are all put in it.
And also you can search how to modify a Marlin firmware for 3D printer, you may get a lot of answers.

Re: MIN TEMP err on start up
Can you PM the original configuration file, I was getting somewhere with it, got rid of the MIN temp, and end stop problems, but now I turned it on this morning and it isnt executing any commands. It connects, I am able to upload to it, but it does not execute any manual movements or g code scripts.
Re: MIN TEMP err on start up
Can I have the original configuration file emailed to me, the system is now not responding to the application. I got reading from the extruder, and completed a dry run print, however when I went to start a print on Saturday morning the system would not respond to the application. It connects, I am able to upload firmware to it, but the commands just stack and don't execute any movements or g codes.
