HELP! RUMBA issues

Post by avga2000 »

I just got a new RUMBA board and I istalled it. At the beginning connected all the motors and they worked properly.

When I connected the hotbed and I tried to heat it up it starts heating however when it reaches 50°C it stop heating and the temperature goes down despite of the temp limit at marlin is 110°C and the same limit is set at repetier.

Im having a problem with the hotend (all metal geeetch) as well. At the beginning the temperature went up and never stopped, even more than the temp limit set at repetier and marlin (230°C). I test by using different hot cartridges and the same issue. At this moment the hot end is not heating at all, I tested the volts and it shows 0v and the led that indicates is the mosfet is on or off, its ligth is weak.

I need help! thanks in advanced.

We can conclude that the circuit is normal, because you can see the temprature is raising.

Please heat the heat bed and hot end (They have the same circuit construction) first in the repetier, and test the volt between "1" and GND, and "2" and GND, if they have the same volt, we can conclude that the mosfet is broken. Remember, "1" does not equal GND.
