How to load software on to sanguinololu?

[Stumped]

Missing a step, please help
I assembled the acrylic 8mm i3 rework. I downloaded the Arduino IDE. I downloaded marlin. I dragged the Sanguino-0101r1.zip folder into the arduino folder. I selected the the sanguino W/ ATmega1284p 16 mhz. I went to select the port but came up with /dev/tty.usbserial A103 NOAJ. What step am I missing? I am on a mac.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Right now I have a paper weight, not a 3D printer.
