Hello,
I recently bought a Geeetech prusa i3 pro B acrylic and I'm having trouble printing.
I've searched online trying to find a solution. I see that many people had the same issue with the filament not stucking on heating bed.
I tried to calibrate my heat bed, I tried some temperatures.
I have a suspision that there isn't enough filament through the nozzle.
How can I check if that is ok? There is filament running through the nozzle but I don't know if it is enough.
I'm using ABS 1.75mm as a filament and have glass on my heat bed. I also tried abs juice to help it stick but nothing.
Can I get some tips/advice on what to check or do so I can print something?

Re: New to printing filament doesn't stuck to heat bed
1.Make sure your bed temp reaches 100~110 degree when you're printing with ABS.
2.Check if the distance between the nozzle and the bed is too large.
3.You can try spreading some ABS glue on the surface of the platform.

Thank you for your response.
How do I figure out the correct distance between bed and nozzle?
I saw some videos and tips saying a distance as thick a A4 paper is. Is that correct?

Re: New to printing filament doesn't stuck to heat bed
Thank you very much for your reply.
I did very carefully the calibration for the heat bed and tried some distances for the nozzle.
I got some prints now I have to make some adjustments because my prints fail.
For example I tried to print a small 10mm cube so I can calibrate my E motor but instead I got what you see at the picture below.
1) the walls aren't very solid you can see the layers and
2) somehow in the middle of the proccess it got messed up.
How can I fix those problems?
Thank you in advance.
