Hey all
i just installed(what a nightmare if you have repetier and no manual)
everything looked great till i noticed i couldnt set my nozzle offset. it was just never quite right. then i got a print to start after reseating everything and dismantling the probe. midway through the second layor i noticed the pin was dragging and causing trouble. i tried to manually push it bk up, but it was solid. after investigating i found the allen key adjuster on top had moved real far down and now my min position was below the nozzle. i checked to make sure the pin was firmly in his shrink wrap rebuilt and restarted, only to have the same problem on the next print. this happening to anyone else? any solutions? the back looks kinda loose, should i tighten it up?
thanks

Have you tried the solution the following post shows:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 27&t=18371
Like screw up the screw on the top of 3D touch with a screwdriver to see how it goes.

Re: 3d touch probe huge problems
Hey all.
Well they replaced the probe.
New one worked for half a calibration then the probe pin changed position(like now the self test at the start is too small to see) again. The pin has like 1mm of travel.
Now all I get is probe failed.
I specifically didn't adjust this one to make sure there wasn't any kind of seal I was breaking.
Dismounted and, predictably the Allen screw/sensor screw had moved on its own again. Is there something I'm missing here?
Yes I know I can move it back up from there but within a print it just falls again. Its like the pin so heavy it pulls the screw down with it
I'm on my second probe, it can't just be me. My probe is on the side of my extruder, maybe 25mm from hotend.
Anyone?
Thanks
