Smooth rods on Y-Axis

Post by ryan.edwards@gmail.com »

Working on assembling my Prusa i3 Pro B and have a question about the depth of the smooth rod into A11 and A12 parts.

The instructions say:

>> Step1.Slide the locking ring on the smooth rods, thread the rods into the acrylic plate;
>> adjust the length so that the smooth rods fit snugly between the front and rear piece.

Should the smooth rod be halfway between A11 and A12 or should it be flush with the back surface of A12 (when setting the lock ring)?

Thanks,
