two extruders pro c and print with one

Post by puppi »

I have a question. Its my first time printing. I generated a g code in Cura. But the problem is that I am trying to print only with nozzle 1 but the nozzle 2 grabs the material when printing. I dont know where to configure that I want to print only one material, so the nozzle 2 doesnt interfere with the printing. Thank you

Maybe you have your extruder motor incorrectly connected to the sockets of your board?

What do you mean Nozzle 2 'Grabs' the material? Do you mean that it is extruding plastic instead of nozzle 1. Or that nozzle 2 is scraping the plastic off the bed the nozzle 1 extruded?

If #2 is scraping the plastic off the bed you need to adjust the height of the nozzle. If they are both the same distance from the bed it will pass over without catching.

If #2 is extruding plastic eventhough your Gcode is commanding #1 then you have them plugged in the wrong ports on the control board.
