Communication Error

Post by htp »

I have a Prusa i3 M201 and I am experiencing communication losses between my computer and printer. When I connect to the printer and set a temperature for the heater, I lose connection and control after it heats up to the set temperature.

I am using EasyPrint v1.0.18beta and my printer firmware is v1.0.03.

Below is the error I receive. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,according to the error,It shows that your com port is wrong.Go to the Printer in EasyPrint 3D and select the correct com port, then it will be normal.

The com port is correct. I am able to control the printer up until the set temperature is reached; afterwards, the printer does not respond to control and once I disconnect I get that error.

You've probably already solved this problem. I had the same issue - caused by Repetier Server taking control of the COM port you have been allocated. I uninstalled Repetier Server and the problem disappeared.
