I got a new GT2560 from geeetech to replace the original one that was defective. I connected :
- the old and new motherboard
- on any of my 3 linux PCs
- with 3 different USB cable
and none of the computer is seeing a USB connection (like in "dmesg -k").
It was just the board and a computer. The printer itself was elsewhere.
I did Arduino programming in the past, and just the 5V USB power was enough but I'm now coming to wonder the basic question if i should also power the motherboard with the regulard 220 V plug ?

Thanks for any of you already having USB plugged the motherboard to flash it to confirm or not.
