What's the circle symbol on the LCD display?

Marlin 1.9

There a circle with a dash showing on my Geeetech A10M where you would normally see the feed rate, setting this 10% makes the printer run slow but 100% it seems to run faster.

Seems that when on the info display turning the knob alters this value without warning.

I have attached a picture so you can see what I am talking about.

Can anyone tell me what the symbol next to the 100% is for and what should this be set too.?

Hi,this symbol has no special meaning,
the percentage is based on the speed set on the slicing software.
For example, if you set a speed of 60mm/s, 100% speed is 60mm/s and 50% is 30mm/s.

Thanks William for the reply guessing I will need to look into this.

I am struggling to get any consistent to print on this machine, seems things don't stick to the glass bed or if I get it to stick over time it will work loose.

Small 1hr jobs if i get it to stick will finish anything over that is just

I've tried with nozzle temps 200-220 and bed temps 60-80 so need to keep trying a few ideas see what works.

So far not impressed with it.

There are also reasons for non-sticky printing:
1. The hot bed is uneven or deformed. Re-level the hot bed or replace the hot bed.
2. The nozzle is too close or too far, you can use paper to level manually
3. The temperature of the first layer is not enough, set a higher temperature on the first layer, and disable the part cooling fan for the first layer.

Thanks WIlliam,

I have ended up replacing the glass bed for magnetic on and so far things things are sticking far better.

Most models coming out so far but only done a few small ones, the gecko/lizard one seems to have an X shift.
I have adjusted to the belt tension and set jerk to 10 but still off so need to play and see if I can resolve that. It only seems to do it on the Gecko/Lizard so far.

Will test some big prints and see if they work.
