Geeetech's Total Lack of Customer Service

Post by poppen »

Purchased a new A10M directly from Geeetech. To start, they overcharged me. The Wifi module they sent does not work. The printer keeps jamming and now does not work at all. I have followed all their posted suggestions, videos and users discussions. I am an experienced printer builder and have built two other printers without problems. I point this out to make clear that I know what I'm doing and still can't get this printer to work.

From the time I got it I have been trying to contact their service people. Emails, forums, online forms, Facebook, Skype and others. Not a single response. Tried through Paypal. Still no response. It has become clear that Geeetech does not support their products once they have your money.

I will now need to try and salvage this 3-week old purchase by replacing everything but the motors and frame on a brand new printer. Forget any promise of the "100% satisfaction guarantee", the return or replace policy or a warranty.

Unless money, time and aggravation are things you don't care about, don't buy a Geeetech printer!

Wifi serial number is 2004033DWF03505.

Can you also help me with a replacement hot end?

Hi,if the light keeps flashing, the connection is not successful. The password may be too complicated. It is recommended to change the relatively simple password.
What's wrong with the hot end?

Thanks for your reply. The light does keep flashing. What exactly do you mean about the password being too complicated? Are you saying that I need to make my wifi password simple? That would reduce the security of my network. I don't think I should have to do that to make the product work.

The hotend is a different story. It's totally clogged. I have followed all your videos and instructions for cleaning it as well as others posted online. I have upgraded the PTFE tubing, replaced the nozzle and cleaned the entire filament path that I could get to. Since this is a brand new printer it must be covered by the warranty and your guarantee of "100% satisfaction".

What can you do to help resolve this?

Thank you.

If you still cannot solve the problem of clogging the hot end by cleaning the hot end, it is recommended that you contact the salesperson for replacement.

I bought it directly from Geeetech. I have repeatedly tried to contact anyone at Geeetech. You are the only one responding. Can you arrange for a new hotend to be sent?
