e3d v6 installation help!

I just got my new extruder in and i am trying to figure out what the a10 extruder wattage is so i know what thermistor to use. Does anyone know the wattage the board uses so i can get this thing up and running?

Hi,The motherboard voltage of A10 is 24V, and the thermistor at the hot end is 100kΩ.

i noticed the stock extruder has 2 thermistors, do i put 2 on with the new one?

Hi,if your thermistor already has a thermistor installed, no installation is required.

No, I mean the stock head has 2 thermistors coming out of it. Does the e3d require 2 as well? a small and large one like stock?

so it is 1 thermistor and 1 heater cartidge. my issue now is pid auto tuning doesn't do anything and i can't stop temp fluctuations. I have my cooling fan plugged in to my second hotend fan port and running 1 now to see if that helps but i keep getting thermal shutdowns.
