Could you please post your working configuration.h? I have the same LCD and the same problems, however I have no overseas friend to call....
I would greatly appreciate knowing what fixed the problem....

Ok, I got your file, and successfully compiled it to my board. The exact same thing happens, where every time I press the click encoder the screen refreshes and it beeps twice at me, but no sub menu. This is one of two things: either this geeetech unit is not an exact copy of the reprapworld one, or the unit is faulty. Now, how do I get it replaced?

That is a good question about replacement because I have one of five that I bought that is giving me problems and will not read an SD card.
I have emailed, left messages on the forums, used the contact form and got no response from any of them.
I also have a faulty RAMPS board that has a short across the signal and ground pins on the X axis stops, same problem, no-one wants to know about it.

I think the point is that your Copy of the reprapworld unit is a piece of junk. It simply does not work and is of poor quality. I have already returned this to where I got it and I have no intention of buying another Geeetech product again.

I have spoken with Rocky and he has promised to replace the problem boards. I hope that is soon because I have people waiting for the machines that they will be put on.

Hi Jack,
It has been 9 days now and I still have heard nothing about the replacement boards.
I now have another boards that have a problems.
A RAMPS board and a Mega board. The Mega board will not program, it shows that the USB has connected, but will not program or connect to the computer. The RAMPS section has problems too, the LEDs do not work, one looks like it is missing and I can't get it to do anything with another Mega board that I got at the same time.
There seems to be a QC problem at Geeetech, too many problem products are being supplied and the replacement service is very slow (none have been replaced yet)
Where should I send the problem boards to?
I would like these replaced ASAP at least to show that I am dealing with an honourable company.
I was considering being a dealer for you, but so far the products have been un-reliable and the service when a problem occurs is very bad. It makes me wonder if it would be a problem being a dealer for you, even though the prices are good, the price is not cheap when there are so many problems and no back up service (even when promised)
I have 10 Printrboards that I have not used yet and I am wondering if I will have problems with them also, as I have read others have had problems with the traces being too thin.
Please get back to me nd restore my faith in your company.
