Hello,
I am currently trying to send the module into low Power mode, but:
AT+CSCLK=2 only drops the module to around 25mAh, after 5s of no data send
and
AT+CSCLK=1 only drops the module to around 25mAh, after pulling DTR up.
This is far away from 1,5mA!
SIM900 Arduino Shield - Sleep Mode
Re: SIM900 Arduino Shield - Sleep Mode
Hi,SciLor !
It only means the consumption of the GPRS Shield is 1.5mAh, as the wiki described the low power consumption - 1.5mA .But when you connect the shield to the UNO,the current of the UNO board and GPRS Shield will not be 1.5mAh.Only the consumption of the LED named "power" on the UNO board is about 5mAh.
Best wishes to you!

Re: SIM900 Arduino Shield - Sleep Mode
Hey,
I have measured my Arduino (I have switched over to a Pro Mini)
The arduino needs 2-3mAh without removing the Leds in Low Power Mode that waits for an interrupt.
I measured the Shield alone.
