I3 stepper motors

Post by cocodet »

I just finished to assemble my I3 3D printer with a sanguinololu board and 4 driver boards. I control it with Repetier-host. All parts are moving easily (on x y z) but i cannot get anything moving with Repetier-host on manual control. I get a whistling noise, puting my finger on the stepper motor, i feel some small vibrations, but nothing more.
Any idea.

You use 4 driver boards but you have 5 Motos. The z direction driver board has to driver 2 Motos,so you have ture the slide rheostat clockwise to make its drive current larger.
