PCB Fan blowing through heat bed
The Controller Board fan is blowing through the corner on the X-0 axis and until halfway through the Y-axis to the end. This is causing prints that are located on that corner to warp terribly since the air is rapidly cooling the prints.
I've tried to print multiple objects and all prints that are on that corner end up warped. I've also tried 2 wide objects and the part near that corner still warps.
I've tried blocking the air with a cardboard for now and it somehow works as long as the board doesn't fall off with the jerking motion of the printer.
Any suggestions to solve this?

Re: PCB Fan blowing through heat bed
Picture attached. I tried printing another wide object, and it warped again on the side near the fan, even though it was far from the corner or the side of the heatbed.
The bed is leveled and I'm using kapton tape with hairspray. All prints are fine except for anything near that side. The skirt also sticks very well even on that side, but the print warps after some time of printing.

Re: PCB Fan blowing through heat bed
I did another try with multiple objects and I just found out that the PCB wasn't causing the problem. If the print takes too long, around more than 2 hours, the print on the left side (near PCB) will lose traction with the bed and warp. It only happens to that part of the bed though.
I printed 6 objects and the object on the corner of the bed warped. (1st print) (print time: ~4 hours)
I then printed only a single object on that corner of the bed, and the print was ok (print time: ~45 minutes)
I then printed another set of 6 objects same locations as the 1st print and the corner object was again warped (2nd print) (print time: ~4 hours)
All prints had good adhesion from the beginning until a few hours later, the parts started to lose traction with the bed.
I also wiped the bed clean with acetone, and applied a new layer of hairspray in between the prints.
I also printed another wide object, and traction was good at the beginning, but after 1 hour, the same side of the bed lost traction and warped that I had to cancel the print.

Re: PCB Fan blowing through heat bed
please try to increase the hot bed temperature.the best temperature of hot bed for ABS is 80°-90°。

Re: PCB Fan blowing through heat bed
I start printing with heat bed temperature of 93 to 95, giving it time to spread the heat to at least 90 across the bed. I have no problems with other corners/sides of the bed, only that corner/side.

hi,did you print with ABS.If that, please try the following step.mackamandag wrote:I start printing with heat bed temperature of 93 to 95, giving it time to spread the heat to at least 90 across the bed. I have no problems with other corners/sides of the bed, only that corner/side.
1.when printing the first layer, please raised the hot bed temperature to 110°。than lower the temperature to 90°。
2.Pave Masking tape to hot bed.and wipe glue.
3.please increase the contact area of first layer when slicer.
4.decrease the distace between the nozzle and hot bed.

Re: PCB Fan blowing through heat bed
I found the problem and was able to fix it.
I checked some pictures of the MK8 and saw that my fan was installed incorrectly, it had the fan blowing out instead of into the extruder.
