G2s compatible Jhead list

Hi all experts

Need recommendation on replacement Jhead hotends .
G2S built projects is not going well due to failing hotends

During calibration/ testing both stocked hotend fail miserably, 1 Jammed badly shortly after few test run and 1 is Clogged on arrival. When raise to preheat ABS tempature 240c both head start bubbling PLA on the joint of hotend.

When try to disassemble to clean, both hotend is glued in by the melted PLA. One Jhead screw tread marks completed melted . The other losses tread badly too. Not sure how can they can be put back proper.

Now looking for something better than stock Jhead (not liking the plastic v2).
Is Full-Metal J-head short-distance (700-001-0503) or the long distance ones compatible with G2S brackets & trouble free Or any recommendation ? Want to order & resume project soon

hi,G2S brackets is only compatible with 1 full mendal j head.2 full mendal j head is too larger to assemble.

It means there is no more room for two metal Jheads .Two metal jheads are bigger than two plastic ones.you can only assemble it with either of them.
You can find the model as the pic shows.

Please clarify compatible model#, as mention the both "plastic" not working. One is DOA out if box, and the other Clogged quickly after few test run. Expect to replace them with metal ones if fit.

this is the latest jhead, it's compatible with G2S.

melt zone looks very long and no heatsinking on that latest version. How much testing have you done? I already ordered 2 of the "short" all metal hot ends, I'll grind em down to make em fit or something

Still testing it . there's a fan to cool it down, so I think it will work better then the old ones.
