Re: Not printing on bed
Did you define the initial Z axis height and then calibrate the bed and nozzle according to the user manual?
Re: Not printing on bed
I believe that it is correctly calibrated
Re: Not printing on bed
when you manually move down the nozzle to just touching the bed on all the 3 coordinates and the center point of the bed, what's the readings of the Z axis? is it 0mm or 2mm?
Re: Not printing on bed
In repetier I beleave that in order to 0 the axis you have to home each one useing the little house buttons .
Re: Not printing on bed
so that's the problem, you need to manually move down the nozzle to the bed, and it should be 0 when just touching the bed. So you need to unscrew the bolt on your carriage for about 2mm and test it again.
Re: Not printing on bed
I will certainly try homing again ,although I think it's correct . But need to do other things first has it has taken over all other things and getting fed up with it . Will get back in a few days once I spend some more time on it . Thanks meanwhile for you interest
Re: Not printing on bed
Well another 4 hrs spent trying to get it to print on the Bed still pulling my hair out . Repeated homing process but still prints above the bed , altered g code in editor on slicer which had an effect of printing on bed ( actually too low ) then it reversed up to approx 200 mm and printed in air .
Did notice that when on slicer ,the model shows on bed then press print and then shows it up in air .
Please any suggestions again
