Problem with power supply

Post by mouroid »

I just bought Acrylic Geeetech I3 pro B 3D Printer kit.

I assembled the printer following step by step instructions exactly.

I powered up the printer and it was working fine. After fifteen minutes i saw a sparkling inside the power supply and the main power of the house went off.

After i disconnected the main board from the power supply (i left on it only the main power) and tried again to powered up and the same thing happened.

I am sure that the power supply is not working properly .

As I wrote to you when I connect ONLY the AC on the power supply and turn it on the MAIN power (the hole house) goes down I CANNOT measure ANYTHING! It is a short circuit in the power supply.I know about this stuff, the power supply is faulty and needs replacement.
