Power supply not working

My geeetech prusa i3 pro b does not power when using the mains. It will only power when connected to my laptop. I have double checked the wires are in the correct position according to the manual provided. Unfortunately the power supply doesn't seem to be working no noise or anything, I believe that the power supply is faulty and needs replacing.
