12v power rail from the board?

hi, I've added some lighting to my printer, and I'm currently powering it from a separate 12v, 1A power supply. is there a useful 12v power rail somewhere on the board i can chip off to run the lights?

You didn't mention what model(the mainboard) you have.
But i guess you can try the fan connector?

ahh the gt2560

i did guess that the fans would be 5v, but not sure why! i do have a multimeter sitting next to me... lol ill test some now!
