geeetech i3 part cooling fan connection

hi all im printing up a shroud for a 40x40x10 3 wire brushless ball bearing fan for a parts cooler
to fit my geeetech i3 prob
wich fan port do i plug in to 1 / 2 or 3
and does it matter if its a 3 wire fan or a 2 wire fan
and is there a link to what i have to do for the firmware or is it all ready set up in the stock setting

Fans 1/2/3 are common ones that have the solid speed,you need connect the fan to PWM_fan if you wanna control the speed.

ok, is it enough to check it in Slic3r ? or something more to do ?
