You can't imagine how much I regret buying this E180

Post by m8frank »

Hi,

I dont know how to start but 2 weeks ago I was so excited to receive this printer. I am new to 3D printing. Right now though, I'M so tired of cursing the terrible equipment I bought.

I havent been able to print anything correctly. The extruder motor is stuck and no filament can pass, so its always stuck and moving at the same location. There's no possibility to remove that filament it seems.

The nozzle is always clogged and no material can come out even when i move the temperature to 240 degrees. Incredible.

I have followed all the manuals and few information articles out there, but I am giving up. This is not an off-the-shelf product, rather a delicate porcelain to decorate my desk. As an end-user I feel robbed, but not only for my money but the expectations I had with 3D printing.

A very deep advise from my heart is don't buy cheap things, they're the most expensive items you'll ever get in a long run.

yeah the E180 is a dog. But since you have it already...
look for the post I put up on switching and cleaning the nozzle...
and here is the site where you can get the settings for cura, Which is much easier to use then their Easy 3d (based on an earlier version of cura that seems to be buggy as hell...) https://howchoo.com/g/mjbmmgmxymn/using ... 3d-printer

Best of luck bro
