Machine Customization

Don't know if this is the right place for this topic but, if anyone's interested and wants to reconfigure their banner screen on the LCD, very easily done.

Wow, I am so curious that how did you do that? Can you take a picture with other angles?

Zhangxueyou- This is the last picture I have of close to the back of the printer with the stock controller (LCD2004). I have since installed the Geeetech 12864 Graphics controller.

It was very easy to install and configure. Here's a picture of it.

Things were a few minor issues which were easily corrected. I changed the jumper to leave the LCD on all the time. I enabled and changed the tone of the "beeping" so it would give me positive acknowledgment without sounding annoying. Also changed the direction rotation of the selector knob and encoder amount of pulses per step to get 1 to 1 click with menu movement. There should be a way to control the LCD contrast via the on screen menu. I'll have to revisit that later.

By the way, would you happen to know what version of Marlin Firmware Geeetech is using for the Acryllic I3 Pro?

No version for Marlin firmware, because it's open source.

Ah, yes, so is it Marlin_V1 or Marlin_Development? Because there are subtle differences between the 2.

You can call it whatever.
