Update I3 x

Post by shiva »

Hello,
I am using i3 pro c dual with board GT2560 board .I seen i3 X is highest speed printing with 50 microns. My query, is there any way to change or update my i3 pro c to i3 x using any modification.
Thanks

I think I3 C could also have the same speed and microns, you needn't to change it.

No,i compared in 3d printer online store.as per them

I3c is 100 t0 300 micron
i3x 50 microns

speed
i3 c 40-80mm/sec
i3x 100-400mm/sec
So i asked if any parts ,or modification done ,i will get high speed with finest 50 micron print

100-400? where did you see that? I think the parameters are wrong, usually I3 X we recommend the same speed as the I3C, 0-100mm/sec.
And actually you can print with the I3C with 50micro too.

the parameters are not correct, I have asked about it from the technicians, they say I3C and I3X are using the same threaded rods and belts, so the resolution and layer thickness are the same.
Layer thickness is 0.05-0.3 and speed is about 0-150mm/sec, but we usually use less than 100mm/sec, so seems you don't need to change anything.

I think just change the layer thickness to 0.05 . I only tried 0.1mm before, never 0.05.
