Hi to everybody,
I just builded up my prusa I3 8mm Acyl. Software and drivers are installed. But when I try to make my parts "move" in Repeteer Host, nothing happens. I tryed to change the temperature, moving the axis etc. It just looks like temperture messuring is working, because its little moving about 0,3 degrees. I also tryed to setup temp over the display controller on its I3. But nothing happens. Also the fans arent moving, but discripion says they should while power is on.
Power LED is ON an cables are connected like in the instruccion.
What can this be? Cant be that all parts are broken or? I mean there must be electricity otherwhise display wouldnt work and i should not get connected with the PC..
Hardware doesnt work
Re: Hardware doesnt work
how's your PSU wirings? are they correct? do you have a picture? and could you get a 12V output from the PSU?
Re: Hardware doesnt work
Hi Thx for your reply,
I checked the PSU wirings, seems all ok. But just found out, that the controller gets electricity over the USB port. On the power supply just the light of the ON-OFF button works. But no fans are moving, nore any sounds when swichted on. Also the LED Panel is off.
So i think it must be the power supply that isnt working. When its connected to USB port display and connection to PC works fine. Just Components like motors and heating systems doesnt work..
Problem is i dont have tools to check the electricitys..

Re: Hardware doesnt work
you need a multimeter to check the PSU output...do you have a picture of your PSU wirings? If wrongly connected there's no power for the board too.
