M201 extruder issues

Post by Fuzz »

Hi,

Im quite New to 3D printing in general and im currently struggling with constant jams around the hotend. The molten filament tends to run too far up on the Chamber and get stuck there. I have replaced the hotend trice but the problem continues. I have tried to tweak the settings on My slicer software And i also inserted small pieces of the teflon tubes as deep on the hotend as I could but the jams still keep happening. I Even made New improved cooling "fins" to enhance the cooling on this specific Part of the hotend but still no help. Are there Any suggestions for solving this issue?

I was wondering If I could switch the hotend to this printer completely. Would e3d cyclops hotend work on this case easily since i really need the 2in-1out option for gradient prints?

Thanks

Hi,
Did you check this post?

And check if your feeder on extruder has no sufficient force to pull the filament when printing, and try a lower speed.
