new printer no firmware installed

So i just recived the Mecreator 2 as a gift, and when i power it on the screen shows nothing, it just lights up and stays blank. I have sent multiple emails over the span of a week to geeetech and have revived no response. Is anyone able to help me?

I am not familiar with the Me Creator 2.
Did you have to make any connections yourself? I know when I built my I3 Pro B I had the cables for the LCD and SD card swapped. This caused the screen to light up but display nothing, that is one thing I would check.

As far as having no firmware have you tried connecting to the printer with Repetier-host or Easyprint?

the printer is allready built when it shows up on the door step, and i downloaded repetier host but i dont know if i tried to connect it. i followed the software section in this http://www.geeetech.com/Documents/Me%20 ... Manual.pdf

If you are able to get the printer to move when connected to your computer then the LCD display is bad or there is a problem with the control board.
