Upgrade with E3VD6 extruders

I have a Geeetech i3 Pro with two extruder two MK8, is it possible to put two E3DV6 extruders?
Can I use the same firmware or do I have to change it?

If the thermistor is not same you need to change the value of the Marlin(thermistor type). :)
