Geeetech cura profile/collapsible katana

I need a good profile for cura as I have just switch from repitier host and theirs so many more options. Trying to print the collapsible katana and while it did print....it wont actually extend or retract which has me looking at the coast and wipe settings but when I do so it comes out like in the picture I have that I will attach. Any suggestions or profiles would be much appreciated. Thanks!

If I disable both coast and wipe it looks normal but it doesnt expand or retract because of the stringing between every layer.
