Temperature.

What material are you using?
ABS Ive found best at 240 with 120degrees bed temp.
PLA ive always had issues with but normally around 195-205 extruder temp and 60-70 bed temp.

Ok cleaned the glass.
Set Start extruder temp to 215. and 2nd layer onwards to 195
Set Bed to start at 85 and drop to 65

Print seems to be working now.
Also in printer settings i changed the offset of z back to 0 and set the print settings for Z from Min to 0. It now starts at 0.3
Next print ill ...

filament comes out fine.
if i manual extract in repetier host.

Must be something now to do with sticking to the glass. I've just washed the glass in the dish washer to take any marks off.
Might try this roll of abs 1.75 if i have no luck.

Ive set the Z offset to -10 so it prints at level straight away but same problem
still comes out bad
appears like it doesnt stick to the glass.
Im going to increase the temp to 100 on the glass and see what happens

when using I3 B-PLA-0.3-1.75.zip Z = 10 when I first print? Why so high?

Ok ive checked with them and it is 0.3
So ill try your config files and see how it goes and let you know later tonight.

As you can see some filement extrudes but its so patchy.
Sometimes with the same settings it works a bit better than the video

Also these are the only settings ive touched in the configuration firmware

I have a http://www.geeetech.com/acrylic-geeetech-i3-pro-b-3d-printer-kit-p-917.html which ive managed once out of 100 prints to get working.

I think its something to do with the extruder settings but im not sure

Hi,

No problems building the printer except for the documentation didn't match what I had.

This is what the printer is printing currently.
Temp extruder is 195, Bed 65, using 1.75 pla
any tips would be greatly appreciated.
