Re: Problem with 3DTouch autolevel sensor

So at last it was a mechanical problem.

In the 3D Touch sensor the needle which comes out at the bottom is fixed to a magnet with a shrinking tube. That was loose. So the needle could move within the shrinking tube and the distance to the magnet changed from time to time.

I opened the sensor put a ...

Problem with 3DTouch autolevel sensor

Hi,
yesterday I received my 3dTouch autolevel sensor and installed it on my geeetech prusa I3 Pro B acrylic.

I followed the instruction manual and everything seemed to work fine. Then I noticed, that after a auto home (G28) or autolevel (G29) the nozzle is about 0.6mm over the bed.

I replaced the ...

Re: Another problem with extruder feeding thread

Hi,
I am the one who started this thread.

Just wanted to say, that I could not find a solution to my problem. So at last, I exchanged the extruder against a 8 Euro metal Extruder from ebay.
Since then everything works absolutely fine and without any problems.

I should have swapped the extruder ...

Re: I3 Pro B Filament Feeder problems - WARRANTY

Thus the reason WHY I decided to buy the 'updated' feeder mechanism version - with tension adjusting screw. Mind you, the design is still 'seat of pants'. A screw mating with a screw and another screw 'holding' the lower part of the spring? I know I'll re-engineer this thing so it looks ...

Re: Model with double hight

Hi all,
it took the moderator a few days to approve my message, so meanwhile I found the solution.

Ok, in case anybody has the same problem, here is the reason and the solution.

On the GT2560, under the motor driver for the z-axis there are 3 jumpers. They are all set/closed by default which is a ...

Yesterday I did my fist print and I was very impressed. Looks really good.

I did not update firmware or changed any settings. Its all out of the box ;-)

When I print a testcube with 20x20x 2mm the result is 20x20mm but ...
