Delta Rostock mini G2 - carriage

Post by DigitalJax »

I have assembled an delta mini, the carriages are cold printed and all three have structural issues. The first two have broken as soon as the servos move the first time . the third has cracks in the layers in the same place. If you can send me the STL files I will pay to have them reprinted. I would also like the spider stl's also to recreate them in metal. Many thanks

Hi experts here,

I have issues assembling spider to ball joint, the m3 washer (bag#5) seem too small only 5mm diameters from the package !? It didn't seem to able to hold the rod-end bearing holder in place. Do you folks experience same problem ? Any advise ?

Thanks in advance

Hi all expexts

Checked 2 local electronic parts store, it is not common to find 7mm diameters m3 washer in vancouver. Not sure why Geeetech not just included 7mm m3 washers to avoid troubling customers . Anyway also found smooth rod too loose and whole frame will wobbling after assemble. Not sure how to fix this one. Please provide more advise.

Thanks in advance

I had the same problem with the small M3 washers. Not sure if you have a Home Depot in Canada, but they have them. You could also try stacking an M3 on an M4.
