Oversized printing with G2S

Hello guys i'm a newbie to the 3d printing and i finally complete my delta g2s manual calibration and (fixed all the issues like upside down homing,extuder -z etc...)

I manage the break the carriage rot ears while auto calibrating and able the temporary fix it with just zip ties(no other option). I found the STL files for g2s here in the forum and decided to print a new carriage to replace the broken one but guess what ? after 3 hrs of printing final product is bigger than the original one in the STL file.. original carriage 8.8cm what my print is 9.3mm ???? so it didn't fit of course..

i didnt scale the stl file. Why my printer print bigger instead of following the original size in the STL ?

Any idea ?

I think the step motor setting as bellow is not the proper value, you can calculate it refer to this website:http://prusaprinters.org/calculator/

Thank you for your reply.I have no idea what is my default stepper settings.but i will compare and if different try the code that you've shared.

Do you think this is the problem ? also what the default resolution for the delta GS2 printer carriage ? i print it with 0.2mm . maybe i must print it with 0.4mm ?

The extrude speed wherher too fast or too slow will affect the quality of the object.
You can make a mark on the filament,and manual extrude 10mm , then measure the actual extrude length, compare this two length to reduce or increase your extrude speed.
And 0.2mm is perfect resolution for your printer .

Hello, problem still persist this is after i've checked the motor settings .This is my second attemtp to print these carriages but seems like geeetech provides slightly bigger stl so it won't fit...

Can you assemble it to the printer?

I did assembled it with force but it cant go all the way to the homepoint it's bending the rods so i remove it again

Could it be the reason that cause the problem? How about scale it down a little to replace the carriage and print another object to see the result?

Personally I thinj that it might be a good idea if Geeetech confirm that they published the correct STL files for the G2S printer as they may be for a totally different version of the printer. Rick
