The resistance is 3.8ohms (new 24v heater)

i think the problem is the resistance. the heater on our printer is 40W,3.8ohms and 12V. But yours is 24V and only has 3.8ohms, that's the problem.
According to the Ohm's Law, you need at least 14.4ohms.

How do I uninstall the firmware update I did for the dual extruder ?

I contacted the supplier of the Extruder Heater, and he has confirmed the supplied the wrong parts
The 12v and 24v look the same.
Replacement parts on there way

No need to uninstall it, just install the one for your printer agian and that's all.
