Hey guys I've got a problem I hope someone can help me with. Just built a Geeetech GS2 Pro. I've got it calibrated for the most part, but there is a problem. About every 60 seconds or so, the motors will just seem to just sort of let go, and the print head comes crashing down onto the build plate. This happens whether I'm trying to start a print or just sitting there not touching the machine. I tried giving the pots on the stepper drivers a few turns, and they seem to have a little more get up and go now, but the problem is still there.
Thanks!

Re: Motors Not Holding
Looks like everything is OK..
Maybe there is something like "timeout" issue in the firmware or printer settings.
Did you try print a model to take a look? And have you tried reflashing the firmware?

Re: Motors Not Holding
I found it! in the firmware, under Configuration_adv.h, there is a setting called DEFAULT_STEPPER_DEACTIVATE_TIME that was set to 60 for some reason. I dont remember changing it, so I have no idea what happened.
I set to to 0. All is good now and I just finished printing my first benchy.
Thanks for your help!
