Installing an E3V6 hotend?

Post by anrkii »

I purchased a v6 hotend, and printed the mounting parts, and installed it. I could not get it to print correctly no matter what the settings. The V6 has a different thermistor, and from what I have read firmware has to be changed manually in order to set it up correctly. Has anyone done this on an A30?
How is this accomplished.
Forr now the original hot end is back on there.

Hello.

I have another suggestion.

Did you think about replacing the thermistor :?:
It could be much easier. This electronic component is not expensive.

The geeetech thermistor is too big for the V6 hole to fit.
