I got them working thanks to someone else who had the same issue. They had indeed wired them differently than their diagrams.

Can't believe how much of a difference they make. Need to get 1 more for the 3rd extruder.

You should really do a 'Silent Edition' and an upgrade pack.

Stepper driver upgrade + quieter fans (hotend & mainboard) + better isolating feet.

Hi Bobertino, can you please explain what was wrong with the 2209s and how did you get them to work?

Hi William, this means I can use for example MKS Servo42b for x and y axes and bigtreetech TMC2209 in standalone mode for z axis and extruders with your compiled 3Dtouch firmware?

Hello, I mean if you swap the wire sequence, the firmware can be used normally, I don’t understand what you said about MKS Servo42b

My intention is to replace original X an Y drivers with two MKS Servo42b's. They should be plug and play too.

Hello

Im a bit dissapointed. I can find A20M Arduino Files for invert the stepper motors, but there is just a hex
File for the A20T.
Smatto Motor Tool cant connect(yes i fixed Baudrate etc.).

I dont want to switch the cables(btw. they are all black) i just want to flash the firmware.

Someone have the Arduino files or know how to fix the Smatto Tool?

Marlin 2.0 firmware for a20t with tmc 2208 and bltouch (you need to reverse the motors wires, if needed y will make one with normal motor wires)

I can't even get the printer to connect to either of my computers, have installed FT2** drivers CH34* drivers, Arduino drivers, Repetier host, Xloader, Firmware tool......

Nothing will read the device in Windows. Code 43.

Anyone have an idea?

The printer powers on with USB (jumped moved over) and I can control the menu with the dial knob. But Windows 10 just Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)

Hi,

Would mind a version with out needing to swap the motor wires. Also if you have a sec and can let me know which 2208s you got and whether any changes bar inserting them and updating the firmware were necessary.

Thanks
