Ok I am still having extruder flow issues, in order to get the extruder to work at all i need to head the extruder to 230, my estep it set to 100, I am using 3mm pla.

The extruder will initally flow but blocks after a few minuets of printing an actual soloution would be good.

here is a picture of the latest print i tired, as you can see the print started but becomes stingy and lumpy and the extruder blocks causing the motor to pulse.

I am so sorry, I ignored something, If there is a big gear on the extruder, the Estep is 760, otherwise, the Estep is 95.
Please take a picture.

I have the mk8 I'll try turning the ester down from 100 to 95. If I manually extrude it works we and will extude smoothly.

I can what do you need a picture of the pic in the above post is of the printing results I have had on my last print. If you need a pic of something else I will post it when I get home.

I thought of my experience, which is similar to you.
There are two things you should do:
1. Check the Estep.
2. Check your slic3r settings.

What are the slicer setting I should be using for 3mm pla wih the .4mm nozzle

It is at the right side of Repetier: Tab"Slicer">the first "Configure".

Yes I know where that all is but what settings exactly am i supposed to be using.
