Hi there,

I'm having trouble printing using this profile/settings. I imported and verified them exactly, but my prints all have strange line spacing on both the top and bottom layers. See photo below.

The sides print fine, it's the top and bottom that seem to be underextruding or something.

I tried:
- Using 3 different spools of PLA
- Changing out the extruder for the spare that came with the printer
- Printing 5 different models
- Leveling the bed a dozen times, it's perfectly level
- Tried different temperatures
- Tried increasing flow rate slightly (though this isn't a good solution, more a bandaid) -- didn't work anyways

It seems like it must be a software issue with these settings. Which settings do you recommend fixing?

Hi
Maybe you can change the value of top/bottom layers and then try it again

William,

I tried using both 5 and 10 layers for top/bottom, same issue. Believe me when I say I've tried everything.

Can you try printing something using the profile/settings you uploaded? And see if it has the same issue. I think this is a software issue.

Thanks,
Zach

Does anyone have a Cura profile for the E180? The .rar file posted in the thread above does not unpack. It gives an error every time I try to unpack it and I have tried several different rar opener softwares. TIA
