prusa i3 pro b problem Print

Post by Marafon »

Bought Designer prusa i3 (http://www.geeetech.com/acrylic-geeetec ... p-917.html) collected, I think it right, got a lot of problems.
Problems and questions arose when printing:
1) presses heated plastic ABS, he sticks to the extruder, is not on the table and presses all around the nozzle. :(
2) before the start of each print, it is necessary to send through the program axis X / Y / Z home ??? to sensors (up to limit switch)
If you do not poison, before printing the printer forgets that he is on any coordinates (non-zero) and hollows along the axis X to assume its end position for chapels possible (necessary to make an emergency stop in software)
3) the main question above all the trouble, it's not wealth firmware? or Repetier-Host Slic3r - there something missing? .

1 This introduction to 3D printing, 3D printers .... read many forums, but not one did not find support from the load models in the program settings and ending with printing at all, we all basically just the end result.

All of the early thanks.
Sorry for my English.

"1) presses heated plastic ABS, he sticks to the extruder, is not on the table and presses all around the nozzle."
I think the distance between the nozzle and the bed is too big(usually it is the thickness of a paper), so the filament will not stick to the bed. you can refer to the link here to check this:
http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/ ... e_of_paper

"2) before the start of each print, it is necessary to send through the program axis X / Y / Z home ??? to sensors (up to limit switch)"
Every time you start your pinter, you should home it first, or it will lose its original coordinates. And before the print starts, it will home itself too.

"3) the main question above all the trouble, it's not wealth firmware? or Repetier-Host Slic3r - there something missing? ."
If you want to download the firmware, find the one for your printer here:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 10&t=17046

and you can refer to the link here to install the firmware:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=16433

Also if you run into those common problems like wrong direction of motors, hotbed not heating up or something else, you can check it here first:

As for the repetier host, you can also download the latest one V1.5.6 in its official website, it's more useful.
