Problem with heatbed

Hi!
Previously, my fuse (LF15A) on the GT2560 burnt with it's holder. As a result, I couldn't get the heatbed to heat. I fixed it up by buying a few fuses online, and inserting them into the burnt holder.
Although it worked, for some reason it generated a lot of heat and burnt more fuses as a result of the resistance caused by the burnt fuse holder. So, I decided to remove the fuse holder and solder the fuse directly to the mainboard. As I removed the holder carefully, I noticed that there is no "metal sheet" I can solder the fuse to. See the pics below. What can be done so I can get the heatbed to work again?

Me too. I don't know if there's a way to bypass the current directly to the heatbed and put the fuse there... thanks.

Can I switch from the GT2560 to Arduino Mega+Ramps 1.4 and use your firmware for the GT2560? I want to do so becuase if something will go wrong next time ill just have to buy a new ramps and not an arduino.. Thanks

If you want to change the board, you have to use the corresponding firmware, I don't think you can use GT2560 firmware for ramps.

I researched about this a little bit, and I think it's really possible to switch to RAMPS, and it has many advantages.
The generic RAMPS boards you see on eBay already support 2 extruders, a heat bed, endstops, etc. The only thing which is a little bitr problematic is the SD & LCD, but it can be solved very easily by buying this super simple but useful PCB which is exactly like the GT2560's connectors of the LCD.


The only thing that scares me is that I would not know what is the right direction to wire stuff like motors, but I guess with some help I can do that and figure out what's the right direction to connect it to the RAMPS.

Another thing that scares me is the power supply, and I have a few questions:

1. Is it 12V or 24V? (seems like 12V, just wanna make sure...)
2. There are two "groups" of wires. (blue & green in the picture), what is the current in any one of them?

Thanks, but which cables connect to 11A and which one to the 5V? Does it matter? (That why I asked earlier the current in each "group"...)
