+ 10 mm Z axis at beginning printing

Post by ddanos »

Hello everyone, I have a PI3 PRO C, SW 1.0.04.
The problem is the z axis: when print begins, it starts at 10 mm above the bed.
I use Repetier.
Any idea?
Thanks.

Hi, You can adjust the z-axis height by manual adjustment or by the slicing software. Manual adjustment requires moving the nozzle to the middle of the print bed and zeroing the Z-axis. Make sure that the nozzle does not touch the hot bed or is too far away from the hot bed. A preferred condition is that when the consumable is extruded from the inside of the nozzle to the hot bed, the consumables on the hot bed are not cylindrical but have been crushed. On this basis, adjust 0.05mm each time until you try the most suitable height.
I hope this can help you.
